Storage and Backup Administrator (Immediate Joiner) (Telangana)

Role & responsibilities Backup Activities Administration and support of Veeam, Commvault, Druv, Veritas HYCU,Backup & Replication environments Configure backup architecture for physical, virtual, and cloud environments Manage backup repositories, media agents, proxies, DDBs, and storage integration Implement backup retention, replication, archival, and DR strategies Monitor daily backup jobs and resolve backup failures Perform VM, file-level, and application-level restores Configure backup policies, repositories, proxies, and replication jobs Troubleshoot backup performance and storage issues Manage backup schedules, retention policies, and disaster recovery processes Work with VMware/Hyper-V infrastructure teams Handle incident management, RCA, and ticket resolution within SLA Support cloud backups and DR solutions where applicable Prepare operational reports and documentation Coordinate with L1/L3 teams and vendors for escalations Positive to have : Exposure to cloud backups (AWS/Azure) SQL/Oracle backup and recovery knowledge Scripting knowledge (PowerShell/Bash) ITIL-based ticketing process experience Storage Activities: Manage and support SAN/NAS storage environments Provision storage to Windows/Linux/VMware servers Configure zoning, masking, and LUN presentation Monitor storage capacity and performance Troubleshoot storage connectivity and performance issues Resolve alerts related to disks, controllers, ports, and replication Support incident, change, and problem management activities Coordinate with backup, server, and virtualization teams Design enterprise storage solutions for high availability and scalability Plan SAN/NAS infrastructure and storage expansion Implement disaster recovery and replication solutions Storage migration and consolidation projects Handle P1/P2 storage incidents and RCA analysis Troubleshoot complex SAN fabric and performance issues Resolve latency, replication, and multipathing issues Coordinate with OEM vendors for critical support cases Preferred candidate profile .
