Job Summary Job Description Being responsible for monitoring, supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining NGN wireless infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing wireless network operations. Primary Responsibilities Monitor wireless network infrastructure, including Access Points (APs), Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs), and radio frequency (RF) performance to ensure network availability and optimal coverage. Perform basic configuration and support for wireless networks, including SSIDs, WLAN profiles, security policies, authentication methods, and user access management. Troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues related to signal strength, interference, roaming, authentication failures, and client device connectivity using wireless diagnostic tools. Monitor wireless network alerts, logs, and performance metrics through network management systems, ensuring timely identification and escalation of issues to L2/L3 teams. Conduct preventive maintenance activities, including AP health checks, firmware verification, configuration backups, RF optimization reviews, and documentation of wireless network changes and incidents. Requirements Job Requirements EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS & CERTIFICATIONS Education: Diploma/Bachelors/Engineering in Computer Science. Experience: Should have 3+ years of experience. Certifications TECHNICAL SKILLS Soft Skills OTHER SKILLS Wireless LAN (WLAN) Configuration & Support Wireless Controllers (WLC) & Access Point (AP) Management RF Optimization & Wireless Troubleshooting. Network Monitoring Tools (SNMP, Syslog, NMS) Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written). Good communication & customer-facing skills. Ability to lead and mentor team members.
