Senior QA Engineer

As a Product Quality & Release Lead at Shoshin Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the product's quality, testing, release readiness, and QA execution for the AI SaaS product. Here's what you will be responsible for: Role Overview: - Take ownership of product quality, testing, release readiness, and QA execution. - Work closely with the founders, developers, and QA team to ensure proper testing and verification of the product. - Create a practical QA process balancing manual and automation testing, regression testing, bug tracking, and release readiness. Key Responsibilities: - Own product quality and release readiness from build completion to production release. - Convert technical documentation into test cases, QA plans, acceptance checks, and release checklists. - Plan and execute end-to-end testing for key product flows. - Coordinate QA work across team members and contractors. - Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs. - Define launch blockers, release risks, known issues, and quality status. - Provide clear release-readiness updates and recommendations. - Identify areas for automation to reduce manual testing. - Test product experience around AI workflows. - Triage customer-reported bugs and prioritize fixes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of experience in QA, software testing, or product quality. - Strong understanding of manual testing, regression testing, and release testing. - Ability to create clear test cases and QA plans. - Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and cloud-hosted applications is a plus.
