As a Global Scrum Master and Lead Software Engineer for the Global Service Management (GSM) team at our company, you will be responsible for leading and enabling a globally distributed team across Bengaluru, Shenzhen, and Erlangen. Your primary focus will be to drive Agile delivery, foster cross-cultural collaboration, and champion technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the Global Scrum Master for the GSM team, facilitating Agile ceremonies, fostering team collaboration, ensuring smooth sprint execution, and proactively removing impediments. - Drive continuous improvement through measurement, analysis, and optimization of quality metrics, service KPIs, and team performance indicators. - Lead and contribute to the development of internal engineering tools and solutions, including KPI reporting, AI-enabled knowledge management agents, Access management capabilities, and other productivity-enhancing applications. - Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, ARTs, and IT stakeholders to prioritize, refine, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives. - Lead technical analysis, implementation, testing, and validation of fixes for customer-reported issues, defects, and service tickets across the product landscape. - Ensure solutions adhere to coding standards, quality guidelines, security requirements, and software development best practices. - Integrate and submit software changes into the Software Configuration Management (SCM) system while meeting committed delivery timelines. - Guide and promote CI/CD best practices, DevOps adoption, automation initiatives, and development standards across the team. - Support root cause analysis, incident resolution, and preventive actions to improve product stability, reliability, and customer satisfaction. - Mentor and coach team members in Agile practices, technical competencies, domain knowledge, and professional growth. - Identify, assess, and mitigate project, technical, and operational risks. - Foster effective collaboration across geographically distributed teams and stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - B.E./B.Tech., MCA, M.E./M.Tech., M.Sc. Computer Science, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
