IT Support Engineer

Job Title: IT Support Engineer Experience: 4 6 Years Location: Pune Work Mode: Work From Office (5 Days) Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and end-user support in a fast-paced corporate environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide L1/L2 technical support to end-users for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals Install, configure, and maintain Windows OS, MS Office, and enterprise applications Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD), user accounts, and access permissions Handle ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) and ensure SLA compliance Support VPN, LAN/WAN connectivity, and basic network troubleshooting Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements Perform regular system updates, patches, and antivirus management Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation Assist in onboarding/offboarding activities (system setup, email configuration, access provisioning) Required Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11), MS Office 365 Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewall) Hands-on experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira) Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting (Desktops, Laptops, Printers) Familiarity with remote support tools Good communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills: Experience with MacOS support (optional) Exposure to Azure AD / Cloud environments ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL processes Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
