Enterprise & Solution Architect

In this role of Enterprise & Solution Architect, you will be responsible for providing technology direction and guidance to clients in the Utilities industry for strategic projects/initiatives aligned with enterprise architecture principles. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with application, data, and infrastructure architects to define and deliver architecture patterns operable in cloud architectures while addressing security threats in the Utilities sector. - Researching, analyzing, recommending, and selecting technical approaches to solve challenges and conducting feasibility studies. - Identifying emerging technologies and trends that could impact implementation lifecycle and business benefits. - Maintaining awareness of vendor/product industry developments, regulations, and trends to assist in vendor/product selection activities. - Providing innovative Proof of Concept demonstrations and sharing results with all levels of management. - Developing strong relationships with Client Domain Architects and business leadership teams to track changing business needs. - Formulating reference architecture patterns for different line of business areas such as customer service, corporate service, and field force technologies. - Facilitating and developing architectural standards for IT, OT, and Utilities-specific platforms and tools. - Defining and facilitating the process for approving architecture principles and standards to grow Enterprise Architect Capability within CN-Utilities. As the Utilities Enterprise Architect, you will need to be well-versed in business applications and technologies within your area and ensure their effective optimization. Your responsibilities will include: - Applying technology solutions for Business Portfolio to solve business problems in a supportable and cost-effective manner. - Assessing current capabilities against future needs and identifying necessary changes to technology or practice. - Developing guidelines, reference architectures, and solution metrics for incorporating technology into solutions. - Defining patterns and building blocks that leverage technologies optimally. - Analyzing project requirements and defining IT architecture through application rationalization plans. - Defining non-functional requirements and ensuring solution adherence. - Analyzing disaster management and recovery architecture processes. - Identifying critical deficiencies in the current technology environment and recommending improvements. - Collaborating with experts to develop technology architecture enabling new business capabilities. - Facilitating the research, evaluation, and selection of hardware and software technology standards. - Identifying the organizational and financial impact of technology architecture changes.
