Senior Python Developer with DevOps experience (f/m/x)

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications while driving DevOps automation using GitLab CI/CD. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to build reliable, high-performance solutions, automate deployment processes, and support production environments following modern software engineering and DevOps best practices. Your tasks Developing and maintaining scalable Python applications and backend services Building and optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes Creating SQL queries and UNIX/Linux shell scripts to support application functionality and operational automation Integrating applications with REST APIs, databases, and third-party services while troubleshooting production issues Collaborating with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software, participating in code reviews, and maintaining technical documentation Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Python application development Strong proficiency in Python, object-oriented programming, GitLab CI/CD, Git, SQL, and UNIX/Linux shell scripting Good knowledge of REST APIs, relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server), and DevOps practices Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django will be an advantage Fluent English (minimum B2 level) Nice to have Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform Previous work with testing frameworks such as PyTest or UnitTest Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ Understanding of microservices architecture, DevSecOps, cloud-native development, and production release management Job no.
