Lead Software Engineer - (.Net and AI)

As a Lead Software Engineer at SimCorp, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions. Here are some of the key responsibilities you will be handling on a daily basis: - Developing plugins and tools for generative AI models and Agentic AI solutions - Transforming proof-of-concepts into high-quality, production-ready solutions - Integrating AI functionality with modules and Agents developed by other teams - Leading the design and development of software solutions to meet business needs and technical requirements - Providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams - Collaborating with product management, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions - Identifying and resolving complex technical issues to deliver scalable, reliable, and performant solutions - Ensuring adherence to software development best practices, including coding standards, testing, and documentation - Taking ownership of key features and components, driving their design and implementation from concept to delivery - Continuously evaluating and enhancing engineering processes to improve productivity and software quality - Participating in code reviews to maintain high standards for software quality In addition to the above responsibilities, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications: - 7+ years of direct experience with .NET technologies (C#, Microsoft .NET) - Experience in building AI solutions, preferably with a focus on Agentic AI - Familiarity with generative AI tools like OpenAI for Azure and protocols such as A2A/MCP plugins & function calls through SemanticKernel - Comprehensive understanding and practical experience in application architecture for frontend and backend systems - Proficiency in working with Azure and Azure DevOps - Experience with Agile development methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD practices As a Lead Software Engineer at SimCorp, you are expected to demonstrate responsibility, take the lead on tasks, and collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
