Senior Business Analyst(Healthcare - Payer Domain) (Bengaluru)

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our healthcare technology team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our business stakeholders (US Health Plans/Payers) and technical engineering teams eliciting, analyzing, and detailing business requirements to build, enhance, and scale customer-facing and internal web applications. Required Skills & Qualifications - 7+ years of Business Analysis experience, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated specifically to the US Healthcare Payer domain. - Proven track record of shipping or managing enterprise B2B or B2C web applications or web portals. Technical Familiarity - Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments (Jira, Confluence). - Solid understanding of relational databases and ability to write intermediate SQL queries for data analysis and profiling. - Familiarity with web services architectures (REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML). Domain Knowledge - Solid grasp of core US Payer concepts: Copay, Deductibles, Coinsurance, Out-of-Pocket Maximums, Coordination of Advantages (COB). - Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems. Soft Skills - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Comfortable presenting to senior US stakeholders and managing time-zone-aligned communications. Nice to Have - Prior experience with fixed-price program delivery and formal change control processes. - Exposure to claims adjudication engines or core administration platforms (e.g., Facets, QNXT, HealthRules). - Healthcare-specific certifications (e.g., CBAP, CSPO, or payer-specific training).
