Senior AWS Engineer- Cloud Architecture For Retail Technology

AWS Architecture & Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS cloud architectures. Evaluate existing architecture for improvements and optimizations. Provide expertise in AWS services and assist in the selection of the appropriate solutions. Analyze and optimize AWS costs and resource utilization. Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance. Plan and execute disaster recovery strategies to maintain data integrity and availability. Oversee the deployment and configuration of AWS resources, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, and VPCs. Programming and Development: Develop and maintain APIs, serverless applications, and automated workflows. Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, and SNS effectively in various projects. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments, testing, and releases using tools such as AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD Deploy and manage virtual servers, containers, and serverless functions on AWS. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, conduct regular security assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Manage access controls, IAM policies, and encryption mechanisms to protect sensitive data. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions to track performance metrics, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system performance. Respond to and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures. Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or scripting languages (Python, Shell) to streamline deployment and management processes. Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and provide scalable solutions. Document configurations, procedures, and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity. Other information Ready to travel for short or long term to any country Educational Qualification: Bachelor or Master degree in relevant field, AWS certifications (eg, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) Experience: Total Experience of minimum 5 year and maximum 10 years with 3+ yrs of relevant experience Experience using DevOps tools in a cloud environment, such as Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, Gradle, Sonar Qube, etc is MUST Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, and SNS effectively in various projects is MUST Experience in Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments, testing, and releases using tools such as AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD is MUST Experience in Deploying and managing virtual servers, containers, and serverless functions on AWS is MUST Hands on in source code management tools like Git, Github, GitLab etc Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and Git branching and versioning strategies. Experience using monitoring solutions like CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, etc Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows system administration Solid understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery best practices Strong scripting skills for automation (eg, Python, Shell).
