Job Title: 508 Tester (Accessibility Tester)

Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Remote)

Duration : Fulltime

Clearance: Active IRS MBI Clearance (Preferred)

Role

Section 508 Tester supports accessibility compliance efforts by evaluating applications and systems to ensure adherence to Section 508 standards and accessibility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform accessibility testing of applications using automated and manual tools

• Identify and document accessibility issues based on Section 508 and WCAG standards

• Support remediation efforts by working with development teams

• Validate fixes and ensure compliance with accessibility requirements

• Prepare accessibility compliance reports and documentation

• Collaborate with QA and development teams to integrate accessibility into testing processes

Minimum Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in accessibility testing or QA

• Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.0/2.1 standards

• Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, Axe, Wave)

Compensation

The expected compensation range for this position is $84,000 – $125,000 annually. Compensation is determined in good faith and may vary based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, clearance level, labor category alignment, contract requirements, work location, internal equity, and business needs.

The posted range reflects the Sky’s reasonable estimate at the time of posting and does not guarantee a specific salary or rate. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and applicable contractual and business considerations.
