Software Development Engineer - Test - Java/Selenium

As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in our agile development teams, ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software solutions. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, ultimately impacting the user experience through robust, scalable, and performant applications. - Design and implement automated test suites using Java and Python to achieve comprehensive test coverage for our microservices architecture. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and quicker release cycles. - Collaborate with developers to detect and resolve defects early in the development process, thereby reducing time to market. - Analyze test results and generate detailed reports for stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making. - Contribute to the enhancement of test frameworks and tools to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing endeavors. - Engage in code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with coding standards. Required Qualifications: - Demonstrated proficiency in developing and maintaining automated test suites utilizing Java and Python. - Proven track record in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Selenium. - Sound understanding of CI/CD principles and hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI. - Experience in testing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to debug complex issues. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to engage effectively with cross-functional teams. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Gurgaon/Gurugram.
