Telecom Field Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Telecom Field Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support telecom and broadband network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for field operations related to fiber, wireless, and network equipment while ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain telecom and broadband network equipment.Perform fiber optic cable installation, splicing, testing, and fault rectification.Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and restore services within defined timelines.Conduct site surveys and network feasibility assessments.Install and support routers, switches, ONTs, and wireless devices.Monitor network performance and perform preventive maintenance activities.Respond to customer complaints and provide on-site technical support.Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service reports.Follow safety procedures while working at customer premises, telecom sites, and outdoor locations.Coordinate with NOC, project teams, and vendors for issue resolution and network upgrades.Required Qualifications: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field.Basic knowledge of Fiber Optics, FTTH, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and wireless networking.Experience in telecom, ISP, or broadband field operations is preferred.Knowledge of routers, switches, OTDR, power meters, and testing tools.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.Preferred Skills: Experience in FTTH deployment and maintenance.Knowledge of fiber splicing and cable laying.CCNA or networking certifications will be an added advantage.Good communication and customer-handling skills.Benefits: Competitive SalaryPF & ESI BenefitsMobile and Travel AllowanceCareer Growth OpportunitiesTraining and Certification SupportPay: 18,000.00 - 35,000.00 per month Benefits: Flexible scheduleHealth insuranceLeave encashmentLife insurancePaid sick timeProvident FundEducation: Secondary(10th Pass) (Preferred)Experience: Network installation: 1 year (Required)Language: Tamil (Preferred)Work Location: In person Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Telecom Field Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support telecom and broadband network infrastructure.
