B2B Integration Engineer

Softthink Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented B2B Integration Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA to support our client project.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of APIs using DevOps principles, ensuring seamless integration and efficient communication between systems.

• Utilize Docker images and Kubernetes architecture to automate the deployment process, enabling scalable and reliable API infrastructure.

• Employ RAML (RESTful API Modeling Language) to design APIs, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standards.

• Implement APIs using MuleSoft provided connectors, leveraging their capabilities to enable seamless data integration and communication between systems.

• Develop complex Data Weave functions to transform and manipulate data as per the defined requirements.

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, gathering their technical requirements and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Take ownership of release management activities, ensuring smooth deployment of deliverables and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality, identify potential issues, and suggest improvements.

• Collaborate with the team to gather requirements, define data definitions, transformation logic, and design data models, data flow, and process.

• Perform data analysis and profiling against source systems to identify patterns, validate data quality, and ensure accurate transformations.

• Provide technical guidance and solutions to the team, leveraging expertise to overcome challenges and optimize development processes.

• Provide accurate estimates for development efforts, considering factors such as complexity, dependencies, and resources required.

At our company and at our client’s company, a B2B Integration Engineer requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
