.Net Developer

Softthink Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented .Net Developer to join our team in Herndon, VA to support our client project.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate broad expertise in .NET system and associated technologies, including C#, Web API, and Microsoft Azure.

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and services using Azure services such as Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and more.

• Create and manage Azure resources using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure CLI or Azure PowerShell.

• Integrate Azure services with other tools and services, such as Visual Studio, GitHub, and DevOps.

• Build high-performing, responsive, and interactive web applications using the Angular framework.

• Participate in Agile software development practices.

• Collaborate with other members of the development team to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development and testing.

• Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based applications and services.

• Stay up to date with new .NET frameworks, Azure services and features and evaluate their potential use in new or existing solutions.

• Provide guidance and best practices for other team members on using Azure services and features.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code adheres to best practices and standards.

• Collaborate with other teams, such as operations, security, and business teams to ensure that solutions are deployed and operated securely.

• Attend and contribute to Scrum meetings to discuss Product Backlog Items (PBIs).

• Assign tasks to junior developers, such as coding, testing, debugging, and analytics, and provide mentorship and guidance as needed.

At our company and at our client’s company, a .Net Developer requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
