About the role
This position is for a contingent Thermal & Environmental Test Engineer in the Dynamic Performance Group (DPG).
Typical responsibilities include:
• Vehicle spec. setting in relationship to the thermal & environmental spec of the vehicle
• Test planning & testing: (Engine cooling, part heat resistance, snow & water ingress)
o Planning & performing testing of the full vehicle
o Test setup
o Conducting actual testing
o Analyzing test data
o Writing test reports
o Reporting to Management, Project Team & Technical Leadership
• Correlation with other departments, designers & the project Team
• Thermal & Environmental spec management:
o Managing measurement requests from multiple divisions & groups
o Supporting any countermeasure activities
• Support actual field testing activities:
o Hot weather
o Cold weather
o Offroad

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of working experience
