Enterprise Cloud Application Architect

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Cloud Application Architect to define the technical vision and execution strategy for our next generation of cloud-native applications. This role is a blend of hands-on architecture, technical leadership, and strategic mentorship, responsible for driving adoption of modern patterns across our development teams. This individual will serve as the technical authority on the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and cloud best practices, ensuring all applications are secure, scalable, and maintainable. Role & Responsibilities: 10+ years in software development and technical leadership roles, with 5+ years focused specifically on application architecture. Deep, demonstrable experience building and scaling applications on the AWS cloud. Expert-level understanding of modern application architectures including microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and event streaming (e.g., Kafka/Kinesis). Proven ability to guide development teams through complex SDLC processes and enforce standards for quality and security.
