Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer (MERN+AI) Work Location: Hyderabad /Indore/Bangalore Position: Full Time Work Mode: Hybrid Exp- 5- 8 Years Role Overview: We are looking for experienced contract engineers to join the team and contribute across the full stack. The role covers both bug fixes and stabilization of existing functionality as well as design and development of new features. Engineers are expected to work independently with minimal oversight, ramp up quickly on the codebase, and hold themselves to a high standard of code quality, test coverage, and security. Responsibilities: Bug Fixes & Maintenance: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve defects across the React frontend and NestJS backend. Triage issues surfaced through Datadog APM, log analysis, and user-reported bugs. Fix regressions in campaign workflows, Q&A workflows, webhook delivery, and email notifications. Ensure all fixes are covered by unit tests and do not reduce overall test coverage. Review and address security vulnerabilities aligned with the OWASP Top 10. Feature Development: Design and implement new features end-to-end from REST API contracts and MongoDB data models through to React UI components. Extend the LangChain AI agent framework with new agent types (e.g. newsummarisation strategies, assessment models, or report generators). Build new campaign management capabilities, including enhanced progress tracking, filtering, export formats, and notification workflows. Develop new UI components (React + SCSS) consistent with existing design patterns. Integrate new internal or third-party services through the APIGEE enterprise gateway. Quality & Standards: Write and maintain unit tests using Jest and integration tests using Super test. Adhere to and enforce ESLint and Prettier code style rules across all contributions. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback. Keep JSDoc documentation up to date for all public APIs, services, and agents. Follow NX monorepo conventions and NestJS module boundaries.
