About The Role Were building the next wave of remittance products and looking for a seasoned fullstack engineer who doesnt just code, but shapes technical direction, leads by example, and elevates the team. If you care deeply about user experience, performance, clean architecture, and shipping with discipline read on. Key Responsibilities Lead delivery of highimpact, largescale features and systemsfrom UI through backend, into production. Define and evolve architecture: from UI/UX patterns using Next.js/React to backend services built in Java or Node.js. Handle nonfunctional requirements: scalability, performance, security, maintainability. Mentor and guide while still being handson: influential in code reviews, designing modules, owning releases. Collaborate across teams (Product, UX, QA, DevOps) and help craft the roadmap: anticipate technical debt, drive build vs buy decisions, champion best practices. Continuously raise the bar: propose new frameworks, tools, infrastructure improvements; help the team evolve. Requirements 24 years of fullstack software development with real ownership. Proven track record of delivering production systems (UI + backend + services) endtoend. Comfortable leading technical design discussions, making tradeoffs, and owning architecture decisions. Strong debugging/profile skills: write code that is performant, reliable, and resilient. Technical Skills Frontend: Deep experience in React + Next.js (or equivalent SSR/SPA frameworks). Backend: Strong with Java (Spring Boot, microservices) and/or Node.js services. Databases: Both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB/Redis) knowledge. Cloud/Infrastructure: Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP; knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, service orchestration. Distributed systems awareness: serviceoriented architecture, API design, caching, scaling, reliability. Testing / Quality: Unit, integration, e2e, performance testing. Advocate for quality. Soft skills: Excellent communication (technical & nontechnical), ability to mentor, influence, persuade, and simplify complexity. NicetoHave Experience with TypeScript (especially on the frontend) and backend TypeScript/Node.js. Familiar with serverless architectures or edge computing.
