About the roleWe are seeking a Mid-Level Back-End Engineer to join a dedicated engagement building Hurricane Capitals portfolio management platform. This fulltime remote position works closely with both Transient AI and Hurricane Capital engineering teams during U.S. East Coast business hours.Key responsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.Build the platform architecture from the ground up, including data ingestion pipelines.Integrate and troubleshoot Bloomberg API for market data.Develop reliable data processing workflows for financial market data.Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases and write efficient SQL queries.Utilize Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse for scalable storage and analytics.Collaborate with Azure cloud infrastructure for deployment and operations.Participate in code reviews, quality checks, and production merges with Transient AI engineers.Required profileStrong proficiency in Python backend development.Handson experience building APIs and backend services.Experience integrating Bloomberg APIs or similar financial data systems.Solid SQL knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL.Ability to work consistently during U.S. East Coast business hours.Selfmotivated problemsolver comfortable in a greenfield environment.Required skillsPythonBloomberg APIPostgreSQLSQLSnowflakeMicrosoft AzureWhat we offerOpportunity to build a complete portfolio management system from scratch.Remote work with flexible schedule aligned to U.S. East Coast hours.Collaboration with business and engineering stakeholders.Competitive salary range of 815Lacs per annum.
