Job Summary The Platform & AI Accelerators Pod drives Southwest's next-generation cloud platform transformation migrating from CloudFormation-based CCP to Terraform-based CCPNext, scaling Backstage Golden Paths, and delivering AI-driven platform accelerators. The team enables faster developer onboarding, consistent enterprise standards, and higher engineering productivity through reusable modules, automation, and AI-enabled tooling adopted across the organization.As Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer Platform & AI Accelerators, you'll lead design and delivery of enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure building reusable Terraform modules, GitLab-based accelerators, and platform standards adopted across the enterprise. You'll act as a subject matter expert shaping DevOps best practices from our Hyderabad office, driving enterprise-wide adoption of CCPNext and AI-driven acceleration.Focus on designing and building enterprise cloud infrastructure automation, pipelines, and cloud capabilities for services on AWS. Partner with application, security, and architecture teams to build re-usable and secure cloud infrastructure to be used by business applications. Operate in a DevOps culture and team, responsible for architecture, design, development, implementation, and ongoing operations of new and emerging technology platforms.
