ETL QA

Role & responsibilities Minimum 2 3 years of being in ETL Testing role.Must have experience in data warehouse and ETL testing,Design, execute, and maintain test cases and validation scripts for data accuracy, transformations, and aggregations.Collaborate with ETL Developers, Data Architects, and Product Owners to resolve discrepancies.Document validation results, maintain defect logs, and provide QA sign-off for data releases.Support automation of validation processes using SQL or other frameworks.Participate in sprint ceremonies, provide QA estimates, and ensure data readiness for UAT (if applicable SkillStrong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and query-based testing.Experience in ETL / ELT data testing within Data Warehousing or BI projects.Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience (2-3+ years) as an ETL Tester, Data QA Analyst, or similar role.Strong proficiency in SQL (write complex, optimized queries, stored procedures, etc.)Hands-on experience with data profiling, data validation, and data migration testing.Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, etc.) is a plus.Experience with testing dashboard frontends and backend services.Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills to document issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred candidate profile Good to Have Experience in SQL Server and MySQL.Testing experience in SSISKnowledge of Zappysys tool and JSON. .
