About the role
JOB RESPONSIBILITY Validate and test microservices-based applications using API testing tools. Conduct comprehensive testing of Postgres databases to ensure data accuracy and performance. Collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Managers, and QA teams to deliver production-ready software solutions. Lead code reviews and enforce adherence to testing standards and best practices. Enhance testing frameworks and automation scripts for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). Monitor application performance and recommend optimizations for scalability and efficiency. Stay updated with emerging testing trends and implement improvements within the engineering team. QUALIFICATION B.Tech or M.Tech EXPERIENCE 6+ years experience in Postgres and API testing. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Postgres and API testing methodologies. Proficiency in automation tools like Postman or SoapUI for testing APIs. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices. Exposure to microservices architecture and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Core Competencies: Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to deliver under minimal supervision and take ownership of test modules. Collaborative mindset with robust communication skills in cross-functional Agile teams. Good to Have: Certifications in relevant areas, such as AWS or database management. Experience with data visualization and analysis tools. Preferred candidate profile Immediate joiners, Serving notice max 15-20 days .
