Tableau Administrator

Role & responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled BI admin with hands-on experience in Tableau server administration and other BI tools like Business Objects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering, upgrading and maintaining applications that leverage these technologies. As a Senior BI Administrator, we are looking for someone who will lead administration, governance and optimization of our Enterprise BI Production environments. Tableau Server Management: Install, configure and manage multi node Tableau Server clusters, monitor health and performance metrics. Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud Migration experience.Security & Governance: User authentication and content security policies aligned with organizational standards.Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot server, extract refresh, and dashboard performance issues, fine tune configurations for reliability and speed.Platform Upgrades: Lead Tableau Server upgrades, patch management and migration initiatives.User Support & Enablement: Provide L2/L3 support , lead onboarding sessions and drive user adoption across business units.Documentation: Maintain architecture diagrams, SOP's and platform usage guidelines Innovation: Stay current with Tableau's roadmap, new features, and recommended enhancements for platform scalability and usage. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud. Proficiency in Administration of BI tools. Strong knowledge of SQL & best practices for BI tools 6+ years of experience administering Tableau Server in enterprise environments Strong understanding of Tableau Architecture, including clustering, load balancing and external authenticationExperience with Tableau CloudSolid SQL knowledge and understanding of performance tuning for Tableau extracts/live connectionsFamiliarity with cloud platforms(AWS or Azure).Experience supporting data analytics teams, enabling self service BI and implementing usage governance.Tableau Server or Desktop Certification preferredSAP Business Objects BI4.x server administration experience Experienced in Tableau, SAP Business Objects, Power BI, ThoughtSpot. Experience in administration, support. Experience with data solutions, cloud, etc. are a plus .
