Lead - NPD Quality

Position description: Engineering Quality Feasibility analysis of RFQ|Control Plan Process Flow Sheet|Supplier Inspection Reports|Approval on quality standards|Finalization of DFMEA and PFMEA plans|Preparation of quality documents Primary Responsibilities: Conduct the test expected by OEM on the internal capacity and analyse the reports Check for feasibility of the quality parameters required in a new product Prepare Quality Engineering Development plan and create timelines and milestones and update regularly on the progress Participate in APQP development and development review meeting provide updates to the team about the quality parameters of the new product Provide inputs for developing product standards or specifications production SOPs sampling protocols and quality processes to ensure focus on quality and continuous process improvement Evaluate and inspect the child parts or products from suppliers or designs or tool room and release the SIR Ensure accuracy through guidance to the suppliers in conducting the inspections Ensure the calibration of all SIR instrument and equipment used for inspections Participate in external and internal audits ie IATF EHS Review and approve Quality system documents and provide inputs for developing new product standards or specifications production SOPs sampling protocols and quality processes to ensure focus on quality Support in Analysis of critical customer issues across the units India or overseas and sample preparation Meeting with supplier for child part issues and conduct supplier visit for CAPA during development Prepare and review ZDI documentation and ensure adherence to the processes Review and approval of child parts and PPAP documents Educational qualifications preferred Category: Bachelor's Degree Field specialization: Mechanical Engineering Degree: Bachelor of Technology - BTech Industry: Automotive|Manufacturing|Auto ancillary Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
