Software Test Engineer

Spectral Consultants is Hiring! We are hiring for one of the medical technology companies in the Hyderabad location. Position: Software Test Engineer Location: Hyderabad Experience: 12 - 16 years Key Responsibilities Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures for product development and integration. Lead and mentor test engineers; promote software testing best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams (developers, product owners, scrum masters). Design and execute manual and automated tests for web, mobile, and iOS applications . Support debugging, defect resolution , and ensure high product quality. Maintain traceability between requirements, test design, and results. Prepare detailed test documentation (plans, reports, and procedures). Work with DevOps tools for continuous integration and quality improvement. Required Skills Strong in software testing, debugging, and problem-solving . Proficient in C/C++, C#, .NET, Java, Python , or similar languages. Experience with REST APIs, Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio, CI/CD . Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Strong communication and analytical skills. Nice to Have Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, healthcare, aerospace). Knowledge of AI testing tools and configuration management systems . Strong leadership , adaptability, and quality focus.
