Job Title: Assistant Manager Manufacturing Applications (IT) Location: Hyderabad Bengaluru Experience Level Needed: 6 - 10 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Per Month: As per market Full Tax-Free Salary (Depending on Experience and Expertise) Job Description We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Manufacturing Applications to join our Manufacturing IT team and support the digital transformation of our smart factory. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing application implementation, application support, cloud technologies, and cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Industry Experience (Mandatory) Candidates must have experience in Automobile or Manufacturing Industry , preferably with: Automobile Companies like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, BMW, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki etc., Preferred Manufacturing Industries: Automotive Manufacturing Discrete Manufacturing Heavy Engineering Industrial Manufacturing Electronics Manufacturing Consumer Goods Manufacturing Key Responsibilities Implement and support manufacturing applications from requirement gathering through deployment, commissioning, and post-go-live support. Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery within project scope and timelines. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support to ensure high system availability and timely incident resolution. Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and other application teams to deliver reliable and secure manufacturing solutions. Train end users, key stakeholders, and operations teams on implemented applications and related tools. Work closely with solution architects to build and enhance the Manufacturing IT landscape for smart factory initiatives. Support continuous improvement and digital transformation projects across manufacturing operations. Required Skills Manufacturing application implementation and production support. SDLC methodologies (Agile and Waterfall). Networking and security concepts (Infoblox, Cisco ISE, Okta, Zero Trust OT). Linux administration, PostgreSQL, and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Programming knowledge in Java, Python, or C++. Experience with low-code platforms such as Mendix or similar. Microsoft Windows and Android device support. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills Exposure to AI and Machine Learning technologies. Experience working in Smart Factory, Industry 4.0, MES, or Manufacturing IT environments.
