The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Scala development, building high-performance backend applications, and working with distributed systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Scala . Build scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices. Work with Akka, Play Framework, Spark, or Cats/ZIO based applications. Develop high-performance and low-latency systems. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and developers to define technical solutions. Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices. Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization. Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra . Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability. Mentor junior developers and support team growth. Required Skills: 5+ years of software development experience. Strong hands-on experience in Scala programming. Experience with Java, Functional Programming, OOP concepts . Hands-on knowledge of Akka / Play Framework / Spark . Experience with REST APIs and Microservices architecture. Good understanding of multithreading and concurrency. Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases. Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills.
