Job Title: Senior Specialist SAP PP / PPDS (Technical Product Owner) Location: Hyderabad Bengaluru Experience Level Needed: 10 - 15 Years Employment Type: Full time Salary Per Month: As per market Full Tax-Free Salary (Depending on Experience and Expertise) We are looking for an experienced Senior Specialist SAP PP/PPDS to join our SAP Manufacturing team as a Technical Product Owner (TPO). The role is responsible for leading the design, implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of SAP Production Planning (PP), Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PPDS), and related planning solutions.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP, PPDS, manufacturing processes, and integration with SAP modules including MM, SD, EWM, IBP, and IPPE. This role requires strong business understanding, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions. Preferred Industry Experience (Mandatory) Candidates must have experience in Automobile or Manufacturing Industry, preferably with: Automobile Companies like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, BMW, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki etc., Key Responsibilities SAP PP / PPDS Solution Design & Configuration - Configure and optimize SAP PP and PPDS functionalities including: - Bill of Materials (BOM) - Routing - Work Centers - Planning Strategies - Production Planning Processes - Implement advanced planning heuristics and optimization methods in SAP PPDS. - Design scalable and maintainable SAP solutions aligned with business requirements. Product Ownership & Backlog Management - Manage and prioritize product backlog for SAP PP and PPDS modules. - Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements. - Prioritize enhancements, improvements, and defect resolutions based on business value. - Collaborate with business users, developers, and SAP teams for successful delivery. Integration & Manufacturing Process Support - Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules: - SAP MM - SAP SD - SAP EWM - SAP IBP - SAP IPPE - Support manufacturing operations with accurate planning, scheduling, and material availability. - Work with cross-functional teams to align SAP solutions with business objectives. Implementation & Continuous Improvement - Lead SAP PP/PPDS implementation activities using Agile methodologies. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes and system performance. - Analyze production planning challenges and recommend optimized solutions. - Support automation and SAP best practices adoption. Testing, Validation & Documentation - Collaborate with QA teams to create test plans and validate SAP solutions. - Lead UAT activities and collect business feedback. - Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and enhancements. - Support training materials and knowledge transfer activities. Stakeholder Management - Work closely with: - Business stakeholders - Product owners - SAP consultants - Developers - Manufacturing teams - Provide technical guidance and communicate complex SAP concepts effectively. - Support decision-making through SAP expertise and recommendations. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field. - Master's degree is preferred. - SAP Certified Application Associate Production Planning & Manufacturing in SAP S/4HANA preferred. - SAP PPDS certification is an added advantage. Proven experience leading SAP implementation and enhancement projects. - Strong experience in SAP manufacturing environments. - Experience with one or more SAP modules: - MM - PP - IBP - IPPE - PPDS - Advanced EWM - Advanced TMS - Experience working in automotive or discrete manufacturing environments preferred. - Strong understanding of CIF, MRP Live, and planning heuristics. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. - Proven ability to manage stakeholders and deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
