ASSISTANT MANAGER

Section I: Basic Information on the Role Position Name : Asst Manager Electronics Line of Business : BESS (R D) Reporting to : Functionally / Administratively Roles Reporting into : No. of employees Role Description : Section II: Job Summary The Asst Manager - Electronics RD (BESS) will lead the development of electronic systems for advanced battery energy storage products. The role includes managing teams focused on power electronics, embedded systems, BMS (Battery Management Systems), and control systems. This position plays a critical role in innovating and delivering safe, efficient, and scalable BESS solutions. Section III: Do - Key Activities and responsibilities of the role Job Responsibilities Design and implement Battery Management Systems for various projects. Develop algorithms for battery state estimation, including state of charge (SoC) and state of health (SoH). Conduct cell balancing strategies to ensure optimal battery performance and longevity. Perform testing and validation of BMS hardware and software. Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate BMS into energy storage systems. Monitor system performance and propose improvements for efficiency and reliability. Prepare documentation and reports on BMS designs and performance metrics. Prepare technical manuals and documentation related to BMS and associated components. Job Description Should have understanding of components used in the systems and having good knowledge of product categories, standards and tools such as CATIA, ALTIUM, AUTO CAD for layout, should have knowledge of integration of electronics items such as FFS, EMS. Section IV: DELIVER - KEY OUTPUTS / RESULTS FROM THE ROLE Key Performance Indicators (KPI) What are the measurable indicators for the role Measurable Deliverables Should have skillful knowledge on circuit designs and assembly codings. Should have capability to remove glitches in the module bugs and capable of working OrCAD or Altium to trace product designs and validations for product selections.
