About the role
Site Execution & Supervision
Supervise construction activities such as:
RCC structures
Clarifiers
Filter beds
Pump houses
Reservoirs
Pipe trenches
Administrative buildings
Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor daily site progress and manpower productivity.
- Surveying & Layout
Conduct site layout and leveling work.
Coordinate with survey teams for:
Grid marking
Alignment
Elevation checks
Structure positioning
- Quality Control
Ensure compliance with project quality standards.
Check:
Concrete quality
Reinforcement placement
Shuttering/formwork
Waterproofing
Material testing
Coordinate with QA/QC engineers and laboratories.
- Billing & Quantity Estimation
Prepare:
BOQ verification
Quantity calculations
Running bills (RA Bills)
Material reconciliation
Maintain DPR (Daily Progress Report) and work records.
- Coordination
Coordinate with:
Mechanical engineers
Electrical engineers
Piping teams
Consultants
Clients
Contractors
Resolve site execution issues.
- Safety & Compliance
Follow construction safety standards.
Ensure compliance with:
Environmental norms
Municipal/water authority regulations
Project specifications
- Documentation
Maintain:
Inspection records
Checklists
Test reports
As-built drawings
Site reports
Key Skills Required
Knowledge of RCC and structural works
Understanding of water retaining structures
AutoCAD reading skills
BOQ and estimation
MS Excel & project reporting
Knowledge of IS codes
Site management and coordination
