Role Overview: As a Data Scientist at Standard Chartered, you will use your domain expertise to identify opportunities where Artificial Intelligence (AI) can optimize operations, reduce costs, increase productivity, and personalize client experiences. You will be part of a team that is intellectually curious, analytical, and constantly learning. Your role may be based in India, Malaysia, or Poland, and you will collaborate with stakeholders to define AI business requirements, mine data for insights, recommend AI solutions, and deliver self-service dashboards for reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with stakeholders such as sales teams, relationship managers, traders, and leadership to identify areas where AI can enhance business operations. - Define AI business requirements with clear success criteria for measurable commercial impact. - Analyze large datasets to discover trends, insights, and opportunities from various internal and external data sources. - Improve data collection methods by augmenting, normalizing, and removing outliers. - Recommend suitable AI solutions and train AI models for deployment. - Provide self-service dashboards for reporting on business use cases and success metrics. - Utilize data visualization techniques to communicate predicted outputs and insights effectively in business language. - Establish a framework for continuous monitoring of deployed AI models and solutions to ensure ongoing improvement. Qualifications Required: - Experience and education in AI, Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences, or related disciplines. - Proficiency in predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and large language models. - Familiarity with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Plotly, Power BI, and Tableau. - Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Python programming, and financial mathematics. - Experience in time series analysis, data governance, AI regulatory compliance, and AI techniques including quantum machine learning.
