About the role

Note: The client is open to candidates with 3–15+ years of experience. A U.S.-earned degree is mandatory . Pay will be based on the candidate’s requested rate.
About the Role
The team needs someone who can actually carry the load. They’re dealing with mid-level hires from other firms who can’t work independently, so they want someone who knows how to step in, own their tasks, and move without hand-holding.
You’ll work across SCADA systems, historians, industrial networks, and biotech manufacturing equipment. Most processes run under 2000L bioreactors, covering both continuous and batch operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop URS documents based on end-user needs.
Partner with QA to understand impact on existing systems and define required changes.
Build and configure modules: phase logic, equipment modules, landing modules, I/O mapping, and PLC/equipment integration to achieve targeted functions.
Manage OSI PI data workflows and historian activities.
Support Rockwell and Ignition SCADA systems.
Troubleshoot and work across IO Link, Ethernet, DeviceNet, and other industrial communications.
Handle standalone equipment software integrations.
Work inside ISO 7 cleanrooms with no additional training required.
Maintain strong GMP practices and own change controls end-to-end.
Understand production scheduling and the impact of taking equipment offline.
Required Skills
Rockwell and/or Ignition SCADA
OSI PI Historian
Industrial networking: IO Link, Ethernet comms, DeviceNet
GMP experience with hands-on change-control ownership
Cleanroom experience (ISO 7 gown-in)
URS development and QA collaboration
PLC I/O mapping and equipment integration
Biotech or pharma manufacturing exposure (batch + continuous)
