Job Overview

We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to support sustaining engineering activities for an established medical device product line. This role focuses on electrical design, legacy product support, end-of-life component management, and technical problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in electrical/electronic design and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Support sustaining engineering activities and manage end-of-life component replacements.

Design, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems and assemblies.

Perform design reviews to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Develop and maintain engineering documentation following established quality standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and issue resolution.

Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex engineering projects.

Ensure compliance with engineering, quality, and documentation requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Master's with 5+ years also considered).

7+ years of electrical engineering experience.

Strong hands-on experience in electrical/electronic design .

Proficiency with Altium Designer is required.

Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment.
