Job Description: Languages: Python (optional), Scala, Bash/Korn Shell (Shell Scripting), SQL, XML, Regular Expressions Tools: HDFS, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Spark, Teradata SQL Assistant (SQL Server), Eclipse IDE/IntelliJ IDE, GitHub, Pandas/MatPlotLib/NumPy (Python tools) Operating Systems: Windows, Unix Methodologies: Waterfall, Agil Optional Big Data technologies: Hue, Ambari, Kafka, HBase/Phoenix, Impala, MapReduce Job Automation / Scheduling: Zena JIRA for task management and time tracking. Critcial thinking and problem solving Self-starter / Self-management. Ability to work well within a distributed team environment Note: Python is optional and all python related tools, would recommend sql server experience (not necessarily teradata), and IDE's are general knowledge.
