Title: EHS Support Lead (Environmental, Health, and Safety)

Location: Pensacola, FL

Pay Rate: - $50-$60/hour

Contract: 12+ months.

Experience: 10+ Years.

Job Description:

Provide environmental support to global operations with a focus on activities in the USA. It will consist of remote and onsite support averaging 20 hours per week for a period of up to 1 year. The environmental leader will complete tasks assigned by Senior Environmental Manger. Anticipated areas of support include, but are not limited to, the following:

• 10 plus years of experience

• Train/coach/mentor associates and raise awareness of environmental management system

• Assist sites/regions with environmental permitting activities

• Assist site with the development of its environmental management system

• Support sites with completion of environmental risk assessments and sustainability projects

• Coach/mentor new Environmental specialist

• Support capacity expansion projects

• Support/complete waste vendor audits

• Provide advice & guidance on M&A activities, as needed

• Other emergent work

• Governance

o Track existing permit database to ensure that permit renewals occur on time

o Work with compliance assurance manager to help sites complete their annual environmental reviews (part of the phase review program)

o Continuously review all (global) environmental employee concerns & events and support, as needed

o Travel globally to support accident/ incident investigations and audits.
