Job Role : LIMS Labware Technical Lead
Location : Cambridge, MA
Duration : 6+ Months
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated, self-driven LabWare LIMS expert. Candidate will have a technical lead role on the project core team, playing a primary role in the setup of the system. Candidate is expected to assist in injecting best practice in this initial configuration of the system for multiple use cases in an R&D environment. Working closely with vendor services, IT Infrastructure groups, and business leads to understand requirements, advise on business process and configuration, troubleshoot any issues, develop documentation and training materials.
Day to Day You Will:
Apply strong knowledge of the LabWare LIMS platform and R&D workflows in the life Sciences industry.
Assist in blueprinting and design sessions to gather functional requirements for LIMS implementations
Transform client requirements into simple, elegant design solutions utilizing out of the box functionality and minimal customization.
Configure LIMS in accordance with technical and functional specifications in collaboration with LabWare vendor services.
Configure standard templates (Sample, Analysis, Project, Batch, etc.) and design elements (under 50 lines of LIMS Basic, etc.)
Integrate LabWare with other scientific or non-scientific applications
Install and debug LabWare Modules
Configure both Direct and File based instrument interfaces
Perform simple database optimization
Qualifications

4 Year degree in an applicable field

3-5 years of LabWare LIMS system implementation and support experience

3-5 years of experience working in regulated environments

Strong knowledge of laboratory informatics, R&D workflows (Inventory mgt, AD Sample Request workflows) and the Systems Development Life Cycle for GxP and Non-GxP Systems.
