Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer Location: Fairfield County, OH

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, your job is to make sure that what we build actually works—consistently and reliably. You’ll be responsible for driving product quality, managing risks, and leading continuous improvement efforts across one or more production sectors. If something isn’t right, you’ll dig deep, fix the root cause, and put systems in place to prevent it from happening again.

Key Responsibilities

Own the quality performance of one or more production sectors

Ensure strict application of Process Control Plans in line with FMEA

Drive supervisors and teams to proactively identify and manage risks

Act as the go-to expert on product traceability on the manufacturing floor

Lead internal process audits and FMEA reviews

Create, update, and train on quality control documentation

Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for quality issues

Handle containment actions quickly and effectively when customer risks arise

Actively contribute to daily production reviews (Short Interval Management)

Recommend and implement quality improvements to boost customer satisfaction

Support implementation of process control capabilities for product changes

Be the technical authority on assembled product quality in your area

What You Need to Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering

3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality or engineering roles

Solid understanding of 8D methodology and tools (5Why, Fishbone, etc.)

Working knowledge of Six Sigma (certification is a plus)

Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls

Comfortable communicating in English, both spoken and written
