Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer Location: Alexandria, LA Experience: 3–5 years

Position Overview: We are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to drive continuous improvement and ensure both supplier and production quality at a large-scale manufacturing facility. This role requires hands-on engagement with suppliers, production teams, and quality systems to maintain high standards and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct supplier quality audits, including planning, reporting, follow-up, and verification of corrective actions.

Analyze data to identify trends and root causes of quality issues, collaborating with internal and external teams to implement solutions.

Maintain internal quality systems through proper documentation, record keeping, and compliance reporting.

Lead or assist with quality-focused projects aimed at improving process efficiency, reliability, and overall production performance.

Travel to supplier sites (approximately 50%) to perform inspections, training, and performance assessments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering (2 years plus strong internships may be considered).

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

  • Experience with supplier quality, audits, or compliance in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
