Job Description:

Seeking 2 senior developers with experience in developing solution design application.

Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use

Use Microsoft .NET Framework and a supported programming language (e.g., VB.NET , Visual C#)

Serve as technical expert on development projects

Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design

Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements

Support, maintain, and document software functionality

Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation

Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed

Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements

Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs

Project – UCB Currency Bank Phase 2

This project will migrate separate legacy bank platforms to one robust module platform

Currently the client has multiple types of currency within the company (ex. miles, plus point, etc.). These currencies are utilized to obtain items such as buying tickets, upgrades, transfers, etc.

Currently each of these currencies are housed on different platforms, as they were created during different life cycles. The different platforms range from Mainframes, SQL, and Oracle.

This project will focus on the migration of these system to one new Java/Oracle platform

An outside vendor built the platform and manages the Java development piece

The client built an additional interface on top of the platform. These individuals will be responsible for development and management of the secondary layer, which is .Net

The openings are new head counts due to the increased work load
