About the role
Job Title: Sr. Manufacturing Process Analyst Location: North Chicago, IL
Experience: 5 - 8 Years
Overview We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Analyst to support and enhance site production metrics. This role is responsible for driving process improvements by analyzing data to improve site performance, efficiency, safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. The analyst will utilize POMS, SAP, and other digital tools to input, verify, monitor, and analyze data, while leading efforts to optimize manufacturing and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Support and improve Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance within established systems.
Collect, review, and analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Propose, plan, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, compliance, and cost reduction.
Track and report weekly metrics, KPIs, and production standards to management and senior leadership.
Leverage tools such as Python, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, and MS Office to automate and streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Collaborate on the design and implementation of changes to the Process Control System.
Investigate production events with a focus on operational excellence (OPEX) improvements.
Lead or participate in Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) sessions.
Document findings, present potential solutions, and drive execution of corrective actions.
Partner cross-functionally with local and global teams in a GMP-compliant environment.
Ensure compliance with company policies, plant procedures, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production processes.

Hands-on experience with POMS and SAP.

Proficiency in Python, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate), and MS Office.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex processes and data.

Knowledge of safety, quality systems, and cGMP requirements in manufacturing.

Excellent communication and writing skills; ability to present technical information effectively.

Strong interpersonal skills to build collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism and energy.
