Position: Stress Engineer

Location: Richardson, TX

Contract: 12 Months

Experience: 3+ years

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

In the role of Technology Analyst, Stress Engineering, your responsibilities includes

 Perform Static, fatigue and dynamic stress analysis for Aero structures

 Use of classical hand calculation approach to analyze both primary and secondary structures

 Experience in both metallic and composite structures/components

 Provide technical solutions from conceptual to detailed design stage.

 Use of Finite Element Methods for load extraction and to solve complex engineering problems

 Participate in review meetings with Client, Customer and Suppliers.

 Engineering Stress report generation and review.

 Interact with customer; prepare Scope of Work, laydown the execution methodology to ensure that the projects executed meet

the customer requirements.

Qualifications Basic

•  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering

•  At least 3 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Stress Engineer.

•  Comprehensive knowledge Stress analysis of Aero structures, Nacelle and EBU systems.

• Preferred :

•  Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards

•  Experience in metallic and Composites structural analysis

•  Experience in Load, stress calculations and preparing technical reports

•  Experience in Finite Element Analysis tools (Nastran, Patran)

•  Experience in static, fatigue and damage tolerance calculations

•  Strong oral and written communication skills

•  Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards

•  Experienced in PATRAN, NASTRAN, FEMAP

•  Experience in MRB and SRM

•  Experience in CATIA V5, Enovia
