Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer Location: Reedsville, PA Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier quality initiatives, manage corrective actions, and ensure consistent compliance with quality standards. This role involves driving supplier development, analyzing defects, executing quality tools, and ensuring supplier adherence to requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Review supplier agreements and analyze defects to identify supplier-related issues.

Manage and coordinate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) to resolve quality concerns.

Execute and support quality processes and methodologies including:

SCAR, DFMAT, SAF, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, PV&V, FAI, SICR.

Oversee APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) for existing vendors and address process gaps.

Define and communicate Critical to Quality (CtQ) requirements to suppliers and monitor compliance.

Manage Part Submission Warrant (PSW) plans, deliverables, and approvals for production readiness.

Support supplier improvement and development programs focused on APQP and quality compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science, Industrial, Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.

• OR Vocational Education in Engineering/Technical field with 4+ years of related experience.

• Experience:

• No prior experience required with Bachelor’s degree.

• OR minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Safety Engineering, or Continuous Improvement.
