Role Overview: As a QA tester, you will be a team player with a financial background and a strong understanding of the SDLC and defect life cycle. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, documenting test plans, writing and executing manual and automated test cases, and analyzing test results. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiency in at least three or more modules of Finance and Procurement (i.e. General Ledger (GL), Account Payables (AP), Expense (EXP), Account Receivables (AR), Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets (FA), Tax (EB Tax), Purchasing (PO), Sourcing, SLM, Contracts) - Expertise in core Oracle EBS and cloud functionalities - In-depth knowledge to understand requirements and write detailed test plans and test cases - Expertise in Functional Quality Assurance and knowledge of application development and testing lifecycle - Manual and automation testing skills - should demonstrate proficiency in any automation tool (Selenium/TOSCA) - Extensive background in any lifecycle tracking tools is a must (JIRA/ZEPHYR/XRAY) - Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting - Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with all partners in the Software Development Lifecycle such as business and development Qualifications Required: - 3 years of professional experience in IT or related fields - Competency in Oracle GL, sub-ledgers, or Procurement - Solid foundation in Banking and Finance domains - SQL Skills Writing complex SQL queries using joins and various built-in functions, able to understand stored procedures, triggers, and views - Ability to work in a fast-paced, scalable agile team within agreed parameters - Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules - Ability to multi-task and take the initiative when needed - Problem-solving instinct and ability to drill down to basics - Quick learner with a willingness to learn new domain/platform/application/tools *Note: The additional details of the company were not explicitly mentioned in the provided job description.
