QA Automation Lead - Senior Manager

As an Automation Test Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing robust automation frameworks and conducting various automated tests. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber. - Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and backend systems. - Perform REST API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar. - Conduct database validations using SQL queries to ensure data integrity. - Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. - Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines. - Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve them. - Continuously improve test processes and contribute to best practices in automation. Required Skills: - Strong programming skills in Java. - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation. - Proficiency in Cucumber and BDD frameworks. - Experience with REST API testing and tools like RestAssured or Postman. - Good understanding of SQL and experience in database testing. - Proven experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc. Good to Have: - Knowledge of Java Design Patterns and their application in test automation. - Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker). - Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams. - Experience in Tosca is an additional plus.
