Vice President - Data Product Development - Transfer Agency

As a Vice President Data Product Development at the Product organization, your role involves supporting the Data Management Lead globally. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering Transfer Agency data products and capabilities in collaboration with various teams such as Product, Global Delivery, Technology, Architecture, and Enterprise Data. Your accountability spans across various domains including investor, account, transaction, distribution, servicing events, client and enterprise data delivery channels, logical and canonical data models, cloud-native data platforms, and analytics capabilities. Additionally, you will focus on the evolution towards insight-driven use cases to strengthen State Street's asset servicing proposition through a data-driven operating model. Your role requires a combination of strong product judgment and hands-on delivery leadership to influence outcomes through collaboration. You will lead the design and delivery of data products and solutions aligned with enterprise data standards and business priorities, contributing to the evolution of Transfer Agency data capabilities by incorporating market developments and stakeholder input. Responsibilities: - Contribute to and execute the data product strategy in alignment with business objectives and client needs. - Lead the delivery of a Transfer Agency data product model by partnering with various teams. - Act as Product Owner for Transfer Agency data products, including APIs, client reporting, and servicing portals. - Support data governance and quality practices across TA data assets. - Work closely with Technology teams to ensure solutions meet architectural standards and operational efficiency. - Support management of data-related risks, issues, and audit items within Transfer Agency. - Present updates and outcomes to senior stakeholders and lead defined initiatives or workstreams. Skills: - Strong experience in data product development, data modeling, analytics, and visualization. - Good understanding of the Transfer Agency domain and servicing lifecycle. - Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong stakeholder management skills within global, matrixed organizations. - Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery models. - Familiarity with industry integration patterns supporting Transfer Agency and investor servicing. Experience: - Typically 8 years of experience within Securities Services or Financial Services, with exposure to Transfer Agency or adjacent asset servicing domains. - Experience in Product, Data, or Business roles with responsibility for delivery and stakeholder engagement. - Background in data and technology with familiarity across platforms and tools such as SQL, Python, BI/visualization tools, and data governance tooling. - Consultative mindset with a client and service orientation.
