Role Description As an AI LLM Engineer at StatusNeo, you will design, build, and optimize applications and platforms powered by large language models that align with enterprise-scale use cases. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and domain experts to understand business requirements, translate them into AI solutions, and develop robust, secure, and efficient LLM workflows and microservices. Day-to-day responsibilities include experimenting with different model families, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), evaluation of model performance, and integrating LLMs into existing systems and pipelines. You will contribute to production-ready code, participate in code reviews, create documentation and reusable components, and support deployment and monitoring in collaboration with DevOps and security teams. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru South, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. Qualifications Strong foundations in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and software engineering best practices.Hands-on experience with large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Llama), prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG-based systems.Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI and backend development (such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java) and familiarity with relevant frameworks.Experience working with cloud platforms and MLOps tooling for building, deploying, and monitoring AI services in production environments.Knowledge of data engineering concepts, APIs, and integration patterns to connect LLM services with enterprise data sources and applications.Understanding of AI governance, model evaluation, observability, and security practices in an enterprise setting.Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work in cross-functional teams Company Description StatusNeo is an AI-native consulting and engineering partner focused on making AI real, governed, and outcome-driven for enterprises.
