Job Title: Data Engineer - Google Cloud & Vertex AI Experience: 5+ Years Location: Hyderabad/ Gurgaon / Bangalore Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Vertex AI to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and AI/ML-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering, cloud-native architectures, MLOps, and integration of machine learning models into enterprise data platforms. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines on GCP.Build and manage data ingestion frameworks using Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Dataproc.Develop and optimize data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouses using BigQuery.Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to deploy, monitor, and operationalize ML models using Vertex AI.Implement MLOps best practices including model versioning, pipeline orchestration, monitoring, and automation.Create and manage Vertex AI Pipelines for training, validation, deployment, and model lifecycle management.Integrate Generative AI solutions using Vertex AI services such as Gemini, Model Garden, Prompt Engineering, and Vector Search.Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across data platforms.Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Required Skills Data Engineering Strong experience with Python, SQL, and PySpark.Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development and workflow orchestration tools.Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and performance tuning.Experience handling structured and unstructured data.Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQueryDataflowDataprocCloud StoragePub/SubCloud FunctionsCloud Composer (Airflow)IAM and Security Services Vertex AI & MLOps Experience with Vertex AI Pipelines.Model deployment and endpoint management using Vertex AI.Feature Store, Model Registry, and Model Monitoring.Knowledge of Generative AI capabilities within Vertex AI.Experience integrating LLMs (Gemini models) into enterprise applications.Understanding of MLOps and CI/CD practices.
