About the role
Role & responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders (clinical, operational, and IT teams) to gather and analyze business and system requirements Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications Work on healthcare systems such as EHR/EMR, claims processing, billing, and patient management systems Perform gap analysis , process mapping, and workflow optimization Support implementation and enhancement of healthcare applications and systems Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, etc.) Coordinate with development and QA teams for solution delivery and testing Create and maintain documentation including BRD, FRD, user stories, and test cases Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure successful system adoption Analyze data and generate insights to support business decision-making Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation Preferred candidate profile 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst Strong experience in the healthcare domain (provider, payer, or healthcare IT) Knowledge of EHR/EMR systems, claims, billing, or healthcare workflows Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR Proficiency in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management Experience with SQL and basic data analysis Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
