Qa Automation Testing Engineer

Role & responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for RESTful APIs using Rest Assured . • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define test strategies and ensure high-quality deliverables. Implement robust test frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of APIs. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Ensure test coverage, maintain test data, and contribute to overall QA best practices. Document test cases, automation scripts, and provide clear reporting of test execution results. Preferred candidate profile • 47 years of professional experience in software testing and automation. • Strong hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation . • Proficiency in Java and test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit. • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and XML. • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). • Familiarity with version control systems (Git). • Knowledge of Postman or similar tools for manual API validation. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
